'Explosions and gunfire' at APC rally

An opposition rally in southern Nigeria has been hit by explosions and gunfire, reports say.
The blast occurred at an All Progressives Congress rally at a school in Okrika in Rivers state, local media said, ahead of elections on 28 March.
Members of the APC - Nigeria's main opposition - were reportedly waiting for their leaders to arrive at the venue when the incident occurred.
It was not immediately clear who was responsible for the attack.
There were several explosions while APC members waited for the rally to begin, witnesses said, followed by gunfire.
People fled the rally in Okrika - a small port town south of Port Harcourt, in the heart of Nigeria's oil-producing region.
"We have been attacked," a spokeswoman for Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi told AFP news agency.
