While many people were dreaming of a white Christmas, Rihanna had the sunny Caribbean on her mind.

The Umbrella singer returned to her native Barbados to spend time with family and soak up some sun.

The 26-year-old left behind her padded coats in the Big Apple to strip down to a red bikini and relax in a lounger, as revealed in new images posted to her Instagram page on Friday.The Bajan beauty posed with her friend Melissa Forde while the two reclined in loungers.

Another snap, taken by her friend, shows the Stay singer from the backside as she reclines on a lounger, looking every bit like a woman basking in paradise.
