Apple patent hints at flexible handset.

Apple's been granted a patent allowing it to build flexible phones less than six months after its iPhone 6 "Bendgate" criticism

Unfortunately, this doesn't mean we'll see an actual licensed bendy phone any time soon.
Apple is granted thousands of patents and often never gets round to actually developing them. It's just a legal way to keep the rivals at bay.
The patent (US Patent No. 8,929,085, if you're interested) covers "flexible electronic devices" and covers both the internal components and the phone casing.Wise people.
