'Explosions and gunfire' at APC rally

An opposition rally in southern Nigeria has been hit by explosions and gunfire, reports say.
The blast occurred at an All Progressives Congress rally at a school in Okrika in Rivers state, local media said, ahead of elections on 28 March.
Members of the APC - Nigeria's main opposition - were reportedly waiting for their leaders to arrive at the venue when the incident occurred.
It was not immediately clear who was responsible for the attack.
There were several explosions while APC members waited for the rally to begin, witnesses said, followed by gunfire.
People fled the rally in Okrika - a small port town south of Port Harcourt, in the heart of Nigeria's oil-producing region.
"We have been attacked," a spokeswoman for Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi told AFP news agency.

Incredibly rare fish with TWO MOUTHS caught off the coast of Australia.

A string of rare and freakish fish have been emerging from Australian seas of late.
In the wake of the discovery of Goblin shark in New South Wales and prehistoric frill shark in Victoria, another rare and unusual fish has been uncovered in South Australia.
On Monday afternoon, a Riverland fisherman was taken aback when he netted a bony bream with two mouths.

Garry Warrick, of Barmera in South Australia, told Daily Mail Australia that after 30 years of fishing in the area he had never come across a double mouthed bream.
‘It was very unusual. I have been fishing here for 30 years, and I have come across a few deformed fish, but never anything quite like this.

Nigerian Man repeatedly posed as fictional legally blind twin brother to get out of several traffic tickets.

A New Jersey man allegedly told court officials that he was his blind twin brother - who didn't exist - to get out of several traffic tickets.
Police said that Olawale Agoro, of Hackensack, told municipal court judges and clerks repeatedly that his name was Tony and that it was his brother who had racked up the tickets.
Agoro, 58, would go into court, identify himself as Tony and request that his court date be postponed
.
The alleged incidents began on July 31 when a Maywood Police Officer pulled over Agoro and issued five motor vehicle summonses.
He then appeared in Maywood Municipal Court in September, identifying himself as Tony and claiming he was legally blind.
The police officer who had pulled him over, Matthew Parodi, was in the courtroom and claimed he saw Agoro pass papers back and forth in court without difficulty.

Indian woman allows husband to smash coconut balanced on her throat... with a machete.

There is trust in a relationship and then, on a whole other level, there is what daredevil stunt couple Bhramharamba and Balashankar Budati share.
The Budatis, from Chirala Mandal in India, perform incredible - or insane depending on your perspective - feats with sticks, stones and sharp objects for the amusement of others.

And usually they involve Bhramharamba in the firing line, as in this video where Balashankar balances a coconut on his wife's throat before he demolishes it with a giant machete, its all good until he decides to take another wife...

Cyber bank robbers steal $1bn, says Kaspersky report.

Up to 100 banks and financial institutions worldwide have been attacked in an "unprecedented cyber robbery", claims a new report.
Computer security firm Kaspersky Lab estimates $1bn (£648m) has been stolen in the attacks, which it says started in 2013 and are still ongoing.
A cybercriminal gang with members from Russia, Ukraine and China is responsible, it said.
Kaspersky said it worked with Interpol and Europol on the investigation.
It said the attacks had taken place in 30 countries including financial firms in Russia, US, Germany, China, Ukraine and Canada.
"These attacks again underline the fact that criminals will exploit any vulnerability in any system," said Sanjay Virmani, director of Interpol's digital crime centre.
Kaspersky said the gang's methods marked a new stage in cyber robbery where "malicious users steal money directly from banks and avoid targeting end users".
The gang, which Kaspersky dubbed Carbanak, used computer viruses to infect company networks with malware including video surveillance, enabling it to see and record everything that happened on staff's screens.
In some cases it was then able to transfer money from the banks' accounts to their own, or even able to tell cash machines to dispense cash at a pre-determined time of day.
Kaspersky said on average each bank robbery took between two and four months, with up to $10m stolen each time.

South Africa parliament chaos as Malema MPs heckle Zuma

South Africa's parliament descended into chaos as leftist MPs scuffled with security during a key annual speech by President Jacob Zuma.
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), led by Julius Malema, repeatedly interrupted Mr Zuma, demanding answers over a spending scandal.
The speaker of parliament then ordered their removal, prompting scuffles.
The largest opposition party, the Democratic Alliance, walked out in protest at their expulsion.
"You can't send police into parliament," said Democratic Alliance parliamentary leader Mmusi Maimane.
The EFF used President Zuma's annual State of the Nation speech to question him about a state-funded, multi-million dollar upgrade to his private residence.
